Terms of Service

By accessing or using ResuSculpt ("Service", "we", "us") at resusculpt.com, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

ResuSculpt is an AI-powered resume tailoring tool. Users provide a resume and a job description; the Service uses AI to produce a tailored version of that resume. The Service is provided "as is" — AI-generated output may contain errors and should always be reviewed by the user before use.

You must provide accurate information when creating an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials and for all activity under your account. You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service.

You agree not to:

• Use the Service to generate false, misleading, or fraudulent resume content.
• Submit content that infringes any third party's intellectual property rights.
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or abuse the Service in ways that degrade performance for other users.
• Share account access with others or resell access to the Service.
• Submit sensitive personal information such as Social Security numbers, financial account numbers, or passport numbers.

You retain ownership of the resumes and job descriptions you submit. By using the Service, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to process that content solely for the purpose of providing the tailoring service to you. We do not sell your content to third parties.

You are responsible for ensuring you have the right to submit any content you provide (e.g. you are the author of the resume or have permission to submit it).

Tailored resumes are generated by AI and may contain inaccuracies, omissions, or fabricated details. You are solely responsible for reviewing all output before submitting it to any employer. We are not liable for any consequences arising from the use of AI-generated content.

The ResuSculpt name, logo, and website design are owned by us. The Service's software and underlying technology are proprietary. Nothing in these Terms grants you a license to our intellectual property beyond what is necessary to use the Service.

Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR THAT AI OUTPUT WILL BE ACCURATE OR SUITABLE FOR ANY PURPOSE.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, RESUSCULPT SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING OUT OF YOUR USE OF OR INABILITY TO USE THE SERVICE. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY TO YOU FOR ANY CLAIMS ARISING FROM THESE TERMS SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE 12 MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.

You may delete your account at any time via the Settings page. We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms or for any other reason with reasonable notice. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. Account data is purged 30 days after deletion.

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify registered users by email of material changes at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of competent jurisdiction in the United States.
